Where We Are Going

Knowing that the real thrill of travel is exploration, and the real joy of learning comes from the unexpected and unplanned, we are working with the following basic trip plan. We know there are places and entire continents we will miss... this time. It's amazing how short a year really is.

A few of the places we plan (and hope!) to visit:

A few of the things we plan (and hope!) to do:

1. Explore a volcano
2. Hang out at the world's largest telescope with astronomers
3. Swim with dolphins
4. Work at a Japanese animal refuge
5. See a sunset on the Yellow River
6. Volunteer with Mother Theresa
7. Assist feeding Indian crocodiles during their mating season
8. Work on an Indian tea plantation and study tigers
9. Ride a train across India
10. Work on an archeological dig
11. Go to the source: Africa
12. Explore a Kenyan Game Preserve
13. Ride the Nile
14. Work on an olive farm in Greece
15. Visit the birthplace of the World Wide Web in Switzerland
16. Kiss the Blarney Stone
17. Return home different and wiser
